"A traffic jam when you're already late
A no-smoking sign on your cigarette break
It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife
It's meeting the man of my dreams
And then meeting his beautiful wife
And isn't it ironic...don't you think
A little too ironic...and, yeah, I really do think...

It's like rain on your wedding day

It's a free ride when you've already paid
It's the good advice that you just didn't take
Who would've thought... it figures"

Merry Christmas

Christmas is here!

Is it a wonderful time? I have to say it depends on how you spend it. How many fights or arguments start because of the gifts or the money. I don't like when families like mine start arguing about this stupid things. Christmas is made to be happy, so let's be happy.
What a great thing is to give a beautiful gift handmade with all the love you have. My little sister made some beautiful handmade presents. Those are more valuable than any other thing. Department stores earn millions with all the people buying MP4s, Computers, Cell phones, PS and everything. People that buy this things are in debt the whole next year until next Christmas where they'll be in debt again. Let's celebrate Christmas giving love, hugs, kisses and good wishes.
Another good and beautiful way of celebrating Christmas is decorating the tree with the family. It's a great experience to be together and have a good time doing this with the family.
Finally, we have the Christmas dinner. Just prepare it together and be happy setting the table. While you do this you can sing and have a great time! Don't look for expensive things to prepare dinner, just cook something easy like chicken with salads and a delicious dessert. The best thing while you are having dinner is to talk about this year and all the good and bad times you've had. Christamas is a great time to share and talk with your family.

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

Family 1

Sisters

What can we say about sisters. They are noisy, stupid (sometimes), lazy, beautiful, the best friend, jerks, but you'll always love them. You'll die for them.

I have two sisters; Vicky and Paula. Paula is seventeen but she looks like 22. She is a scary girl who doesn't really know what to do in this world. Vicky is 8 and she is in Neverland all the time. That's just cool. Keep on living your childhood Vicky.
Vicky is only a child and there is not much I can say about her. She is just a beautiful girl with great mind and imagination. Sometimes, she comes up with the funniest jokes. She is just great, but I seriously think we'll never have the same connection as I have with Paula.
Paula is different. She is so hard to deal with and most of the times we don't get alone. Sometimes I hate her and she hates me back, but they say "the only way you can hate somebody is because you love her or him so much". I guess that's true! I love my sister and that's probably why I don't want her to mess up. But she is good seed. She doesn't drink, smoke or go to parties at all. She is a clean girl. The only problem is that she doesn't know what to do with her life. Paula wants to study in the University, but does not know what. I have to say that many times she has asked my help and I haven't helped her. I feel bad about that but I think she has to start now dealing with her own life and managing it. If she makes mistakes, I'll be there to help her but I really want her to make mistakes. That's what life is about, making mistakes and learning from them, isn't? Paula, I'm sorry for all the times you've asked my help and I've ignored you. Please, understand that I have a busy life and sometimes I have so many things to do that I forget to do my homework as a sister.

For all of you that have sisters or brothers, Don't forget them. Just be there, speacially if they are younger because you've lived a bit more and you'll be a great help for them.

Now, for the ones that have seen the movie "In her shoes", here is the great poem by E.E Cummings. Paula, this one is for you!

I carry your heart with me

I carry your heart with me(I carry it in my heart)
I am never without it(anywhere I go, you go, my dear;
and whatever is done by only me, is your doing, my darling)
I fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet)
I want no world (for beautiful, you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;
which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart)

Finish University!

Books Only Books

Well, if anyone ever ask me What is good about not going to the University? I'd say so many things.

First of all, you can sleep and sleep for hours. Although I'm not really good at sleeping because life is too short, too good and goes fast and I don't want to waste my time at sleeping. Anyway, it's really nice to wake up when you body tells you and not because the alarm wakes you up.
Second, you don't feel pressured anymore. It is horrible to know that after you finished classes at 6 you have to go home and keep on studying or working at home. Even worse is when you can not even go home because you have a paper to do! Another thing, when you are studying, you can't go out if you have something to do or to study because you are thinking about it all the time.

The last and best thing to me is that you have 24 hours to do whatever you want. In my case is to read. But not those silly books about Phylosophy (which I hate), beautiful novels. They can be romantic, drama, in English or Spanish. This year I've read a lot of Jane Austen. My fauvorite book of this great author is Emma. I absolutely recommend it!

Also, I read a beautiful book called "El Lunático y Prometeo". This is an amazing book about friendship. I definitely recommend it!

Anyway, if you like reading here is a webpage you can read a lot of the greates books in history. Free Literature
